Belgrade Attractions - Located on Andricev venac, The New Palace from the list Belgrade Attractions is a magnificent building which is home to the Presidency of the Republic of Serbia. As a monument from the list Belgrade Attractions it is under state protection. It was built between 1911 and 1922, and back then its purpose was solely residential. The Palace was built for Alexander Karadjordjevic by architect Stojan Titelbah. Stojan Titelbah designed the New palace in the academic manner with elements of Renaissance and Baroque architecture. To date, the original appearance of the New Palace amended.

From 1922 to 1933, the New Palace was home to King Aleksandar, after which the king gave the building to the Museum of Prince Pavle. The museum took over the premises of the New Palace in 1934, and was opened to the public in 1936 for the first time. In 1948 the building of the New Palace was given to the Serbian Parliament and reconstructed in the academic manner with elements of Renaissance and Baroque architecture. It is an important and integral part of a whole with the neighboring Old Palace, which is home to the Belgrade City Assembly to this date.
When it was given for the purposes of the Serbian Parliament, the Representation of the President of the Republic of Serbia it has received a permanent exhibition, for now inaccessible to the public and the citizens of Serbia, consisting of paintings, sculptures, drawings and works of applied and fine art.

According to the last census in 2002. There is around 170 such works of art, including the work, wall paintings and murals of Milo Milunović and Petar Lubarda.
In addition to these monumental works of art, The New Palace is home to many rewards and gifts that the presidents of Serbia received from other presidents and statesmen. Among them is Vladimir Putin's watch.

The building of the Presidency of Serbia has five lounges that the Serbian President uses for important meetings and receiving important guests. They are divided by colors and sizes, the "Blue room" is the smallest, and next to it is the oval room, it is simple and downsized in its decorations with bright tones and furnished with stylized furniture, as well as masterpieces of Sava Šumanovića and Milos Golubovic.
Next to the "Blue saloon" is the "Green Room", which is designed for meetings of medium size,  and is home to another work of art of Sava Šumanovića and two portraits of unnamed painters, of Mihajlo Pupin and Nikola Tesla. The "Yellow Salon" is designed for more guests and can accommodate more than twenty people and is home to "Flight to the Sun" by Petar Lubarda. Next to the "Yellow Salon" is the "Pink Salon" then the "Ohridski salon", which got its name because it is a unique work of carving masters from Ohrid, and therein lies the Cabinet of the advisor to the President of Serbia.
The New Palace is a real treasure trove with  a large number of monumental works of art as well as a library, which is home to rare and expensive Serbian and other authors.
